ABOUT ME
Positive-Psychology Based Coach, Consultant, and Facilitator
Sydney holds a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She has sharpened her facilitation skills through years as both an elementary school educator and director of adult learning fellowships in design thinking and leadership development. She brings her research-informed knowledge to all that she does with a specific focus on well-being and connection. Sydney enjoys 1:1 coaching as well as facilitating groups from as small as 2 to as large as 100.

This virtual experience engaged teachers and alumni of Teach for America: Greater New Orleans in reflection and planning following presentation of psychological research on connecting virtually.
HARNESSING YOUR POWER IN TIMES OF CRISIS: EDUCATOR END OF THE YEAR REFLECTION ANDÂ HEALING
With the unexpected yet sizable impact of the 2020 global pandemic, students, teachers, and communities made incredible sacrifices and adjustments to complete the school year. We provided this space for educators to close out their school year, reflect on their values, complete shadow work, and dream about what they want to be true about their future and upcoming school year.
Facilitated alongside some of my favorite lifelong educators Arlène Casimir-Siar and Toriano Hayward as well as Nady Persons and Porscha Williams from Conscious Roots, LLC.
UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA'S MAPP ALUMNI ASSOC. WEBINAR: STRATEGIES TO THRIVE SERIES- USING VIRTUAL MEETINGS AS MEANS OF CONNECTION
This hour-long, joyful session engaged 55 attendees from around the globe. We focused on incorporating lessons learned from both organizational and social psychological research to increase the connection felt in virtual meetings thus boosting the well-being of attendees.
